Elm & Iron: A Preview Into Our Stores
In 2012, Daniel McClurg officially opened Elm & Iron. "I honestly didn't even know what I was going to put in the building, I just loved the look of it," Dan mentions during our tour of his Riverview Farm. "The Clintonville Elm & Iron wasn't even the full building at that time," Dan says. Today, Dan has expanded to four Elm & Iron stores. The company is now sourcing from local businesses as well as items from vendors such as; furniture, accessories, and home decor for people, businesses, and brands across Ohio.
Dan has a passion for finding unique pieces to add to your living space and he hopes that Elm & Iron is there to inspire you all even more. Each piece is a little pop of inspiration, and each item reflects his passion for design.
Below are a couple snippets of the four stores in case you haven't had a chance to go check them out yourself.
First stop, our two Elm & Iron stores located in the Over-The-Rhine district (OTR). Cincinnati's most up and coming neighborhood.
{one} Elm & Iron: 1326 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45202
Insider Scoop: The Elm & Iron Loft building was originally built in the late 1800's and was a jewelry store! Dan tried to keep as much character from the original building.. and if you go into the store you are going to be able to see three stories up.
{two} Elm & Iron Loft: 1411 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45202
And now.. we take you to Columbus. The Clintonville store was originally a service station in the 1930's and has always been something car related, transmission shop, etc. until Dan came in and renovated it as his own. "We renovated the interior of the Clintonville store but left the exterior original," stated Dan. "We love our first Elm & Iron being in Clintonville because of the sense of community it brings to the store."
{three} Elm & Iron: 3475 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214
Easton is last but not least. It's our newest store and we are so excited to share this one with all of you! We decided that Easton was a great location to capture those out-of -towners that might have missed us otherwise.
{four} Elm & Iron Easton: 4170 Easton Gateway Dr, Columbus, OH 43219
We hope you enjoyed this brief tour of our four Elm & Iron stores. Thank you for supporting a local business! We appreciate all of you!
